Karen regularly enjoys performing at functions such as weddings, civil partnerships, parties, drink receptions and dinners, corporate events etc with Impressions, Lounge Lizards and other exciting combinations of duo and trio. From small intimate home gatherings to large flamboyant castle wedding receptions, Karen and her bands will add sparkle to your event!

For all day events, a smart combination is to book a duo or trio for an earlier dinner/drinks reception to create a chilled and sophisticated ambience, followed by a swinging band as the evening hots up!

Together they offer a friendly and professional service for your event from quote to performance, and are happy to accommodate your needs wherever possible.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play music from my iPod through your PA system between sets?

Yes you can use your own iPod or the band can bring a cd player - please arrange this at time of booking.

Can i use your microphone and sound system for the speeches?

Yes, again please mention this at time of booking.

How long do you perform for?

A total of 2 hours which can be divided up to suit your event eg 2 x 1 hour sets or 3 x 40 mins sets.

Do you play song requests?

Happy to wherever possible! Notice is required for the band to learn them if not in their current repertoire so please mention at time of booking. Up to 2 songs may be chosen before a fee is incurred.

Is your equipment PAT tested and are you covered by public liability insurance?

Yes, if this is a specific requirement of the venue, please mention at time of booking.

Should we provide a changing room and food/drink for the band?

They will need a room to change in and it would be much appreciated if food and drinks can be provided if the evening starts early and finishes late! A plate of sandwiches is fine (Karen, and Brian in Impressions, are fish eating vegetarians!)
